Civil Society Foundation’s Media Program supports media that serves public interest with the goal to make quality journalism accessible to wider audiences.
Media Program will continue to collaborate with its partner media outlets, independent, responsible journalistic groups in the capital and the regions to produce credible, fact-based analytical and investigative content, as well as daily news online.
In order to create a safe and free environment for journalists and to improve the media environment, the Foundation will continue to work with organizations that are united in Media Advocacy Coalition. With funding from USAID and in partnership with IREX, CSF will work on strengthening the capacity of the Media Advocacy Coalition so that its advocacy campaigns are efficiently directed against emerging controversial laws, discriminative legal or financial acts against critical media and violence against journalists.
Together with its partners CSF will carry out advocacy campaigns for media freedom and freedom of expression.
